Your privacy is very important to The Hmong Journal. Accordingly, The Hmong Journal have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how it collects, uses, communicates and discloses and makes use of personal information. The following outlines The Hmong Journal’s Privacy Policy.

(a) Before or at the time of collecting Personal Information, The Hmong Journal will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.

To improve the quality of this website, The Hmong Journal may combine Other Information with your Personal Information, and when it does, the combined information will be treated as Personal Information.

5) Children
The Children's Online Privacy and Protection Act ("COPPA") requires general website operators to obtain a parent's prior consent if they are knowingly collecting, using or disclosing any Personal Information from a child under 13. Except where otherwise indicated The Hmong Journal does not knowingly collect or store any personal information from children under the age of 13. It is encouraged that parents and guardians spend time with their children online and to be fully familiar with the online websites used by their children. The Hmong Journal Website is not intended to be used by children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child under 13 has provided The Hmong Journal with information without his or her consent, he or she should contact us. As required by law, we will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
